Lots of thought-provoking content. Very funny comments nestled right next to some pretty dark, but also enlightening, points.

An absolutely excellent series of essays that weave together McMillan Cottom’s life experience as a Black woman with her expertise in Sociology.

It’s a heartbreaking read that discusses the intersection of misogyny and racism that Black women face. In the words of Tressue McMillan Cottom: Trust Black Woman.
