I devoured Fracture in a no more than a few hours, I just could not put it down and it has left me speechless.

First of all, Miss C.J Daugherty's writing is as flawless and eloquent as always. The cover for Fracture is my favourite. Absolutely gorgeous.

The romance is put on hold to explore the plot stakes for this book. Carter starts to revert back to the boy I remember from the first book, but Sylvain remains consistent with his character from Legacy. They even put aside their differences to aid the crucial fight in this book.

Although I understand the trauma response, I didn't like the length of time spent on Allie’s reversion to her old ways. Her return to a more current characterisation was a huge relief and the book really picked up for me from that point onward.

Overall, this is a book brimming with suspense and a climactic end to make things spiral and I loved it.

I read this immediately after I had finished the second book because I had to know what was going on..

I really don't like
Spoiler Jules and Carter
only because the author made me like Allie and him and now its not him and Allie its him and someone else.

Allie annoyed me less in this book she was more real, she had a breakdown because her friend died and I think although her attitude and actions sucked it was a bit more real.

Sylvain, I'm sure that is the wrong spelling but I really loved him, and I just felt for him. It was harder seeing Allie and him getting into more situations but not getting into those situations because he isn't sure and she isn't sure. I feel that the romance between Allie and him and Allie and Carter can suffocate this book a little. We need more Nathainel and his evilness, and less "Oh my god, who do I date" teen drama angst.
