I adored Au’s prose & writing style but a few days after finishing .. I cannot recall much about this meandering collection of thoughts.

It was good .. but I can’t really tell you why or in what specific ways.

A daughter making her mother go on vacatian, do everything she wants and ignoring everything her mother wants (even when she just asked for her input). Does the mother even exist? Pretentious, self-obsessed naval gazing character and book.
