We have a hard case of "magical pussy" right here.
The MMC had never felt anything for women before, he even admits that he doesn't feel anything for women beside wanting them for sex (what an ass...) but then he (literally) tastes FMC's pussy and he can no longer have sex with anybody else. (this is some seriously magic pussy right here and I'm almost jealous)

FMC's personality was awesome. I do love badass female characters! I mean she's beautiful, ambitious, talented at her job AND she fucks like a pornstar? Girl... Let's talk about the unrealistic expectations you're setting for us, simple women(but hey... This is fiction. I want to read the impossible OK? So yes, let me read about the 5-orgasms/night)

Minor spoiler head!

They spend 90%of the book hate-fucking each other but then !! SPOILLLLEEEEER!!
He announces that he loves her and wants to marry her. Seriously, it makes no sense. I think I needed a little more time to process their feelings. Not much, but 2 more chapters would have helped.

Then again, this is an extremely short read, so obviously not everything is going to be developped and in-depth.
It's an OK-read if you're looking for a short steamy romance.

This was hot. Like flamin hot. The characters were likeable and they had great chemistry. I liked what a strong woman Avery was. Great short read.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

If I could give it less stars I would, it’s ridiculous.

Given this book 2 stars only. It's incredibly short and rushed, no story whatsoever. Time jumps and sex, the end. Hoping for more for book 2

DO NOT RECOMMEND

If there was a rating of 0. This book would get it.

I literally let out a laugh when I read the last page because I couldn’t believe I waste 1+ hours on this book.

Let’s just quickly say things because I need to get a palette cleanser real quick:
1. How did this get published
2. No way in hell did people like it
3. I can’t recall a single good scene or chapter
4. It had absolutely no plot
5. Literally could count the number of characters (and except the two mc, the rest only show up once or twice)
6. Literally no dept in the characters nor chemistry between the two
7. The story literally just went oh-I’m-out-of-a-boring-relationship-oh-started-a-magically-and-stupidly-not-boring-relationship-oh-let’s-get-married
8. The time skips made it worse
9. No falling in love. It was just like “oh hi my name is Avery” to “oh hi I think I’m in love”
10. The mc’s comebacks were cringey AF.

I AM NOT GOING TO READ ON WITH THE SERIES

I absolutely love the dynamics between Avery and Liam! He is impossible to resist. They are determined to keep things professional, but can they really keep the lines from blurring? Doubtful. Couldn't put it down!
