Jo is the queer Green Lantern that we deserve. She rocks!

This comic is a little dense to start with, N.K. Jemisin usually provides supplementary reference pages for her world-building in novels, but once you get a few issues in, it goes to some wild and meaningful places. It's a powerful story, one only N.K. Jemisin could create.

I was looking forward to reading this book and this really exceeded my expectations. DC Comic books tend to touch on serious issues concerning inner city crime, police brutality, poverty, addiction and the stigmatization of people who suffer from it, and other socio-political issues. Far Sector by NK Jemisin covered all of these issues by highlighting the division between two of the populations in the City Enduring. I highly recommend you all read it!
