Cute arranged marriage sort of romance.

It was a little different and I was sort of not into it half way through but this book proved to be an interesting romance in the end.

Really slow compared to the first book. I just think the evil parent theme was used up. I would have enjoyed it if the ex had shown up to cause trouble.

Dnf at 30%. It wasn’t believable, and not just because it’s a marriage of convenience. The characters never discussed specifics or end game. The dialects was all wrong for Jase. He talked like a southern country boy, not a rich elite from CT.

The other thing was the overuse of nicknames and multiple per person. Jase calling his sister Sweet Pea is just awkward.

I am so happy that I got to return to Redemption for Jase and Poppy's story. We met both of these characters in Bad Alibi, the great 1st book in this Redemption series. We know from that book that Farah and Jase are the products of some not-so-nice parents and, under the protection of Ben, have grown into adults. This book continues this story and gives us more insight into Jase's background.

One of the attributes I like best about Jase is the descriptor used about him; he's a protector. In Jase's case, that is very much a two-edged sword. He appears to be on his way to exhaustion to do just that. He protects everyone from the evil that is his parents. He is so focused on being the knight that he does not listen to good advice, and this is probably his most significant fault. In his drive, he backs himself into a corner of needing a wife to carry out his plan, and Poppy meets the criteria of what he needs. He already likes and respects her, and, once again, he sees an opportunity to be a knight to help someone.

Poppy, who was left by a no-good fiance to handle the inn and pay the debts, keeps working hard to honor her obligations. She loves her inn, and she is determined to make it work. When Jase offers her an opportunity that will ease her load and help him, she agrees. Both of them are dancing around the fact that not only do they find each other attractive, but they just like each other. The relationship quickly transforms into a sweet love story of these two bruised but terrific people.

Of course, from there, there are misunderstandings and some excellent suspense. There has to be, right? Jessica does a good job bringing the retribution hammer that we have been wanting since reading Farah's story. We also meet some exciting new characters that we can hope to see coming in future Redemption books. The tale of Jase and Poppy was so charming, and it truly is two people you want to find happiness--they so deserve it.

I just love the small town romances that Jessica Prince creates and this was no exception! I'm addicted to the Redemption, TN crew. Each book in this series brings in more incredible characters who pull me in and make me fall in love. Jase and Poppy's story was exactly what I'd hoped for in an arranged marriage of convenience story! It was hot, heart breaking, dramatic, uncertain, sweet and teasing.

I truly felt for both main characters and their individual struggles and issues. Both Jase and Poppy had pasts they wanted to forget about, people and memories they wanted to leave behind. Jase more so with his manipulative and controlling family and the wealth that accompanied it.

These two characters were meant for each other and I'm so glad they got their HEA in the end, despite the utterly bumpy and life threatening path it took to get there! The turmoil that Jase's family put them through only proved how perfect for each other they were and how deep their love flowed for one another.

This story was fast paced and flowed so well. The writing was incredible. Enjoyed it from start to finish!

THIS is my favorite book of the entire series! Jase and Poppy are absolutely everything!! Fake relationships are one of my favorite tropes and Jessica Prince nailed it with this book! I loved reading how this story turned into so much more than a fake relationship. Jase is an alpha in every sense of the word and the sexual tension between the two of them had me dying for more! The twist at the end is something I never saw coming and LOVED every minute of it! This is one of the BEST small town series that I’ve ever read and I highly suggest it to everyone!

Jase Hyland needs a wife to get take over his disgraced Father's company. Jase can only think of one woman who fits what he needs. He needs just a friend, no romantic entanglement, no crossing the lines and Poppy Weston is who comes to mind. Poppy is struggling with her Redbud Inn, this was her dream but the repairs that are needed are quickly making the Inn into a a potential failure. When Jase proposes they help each other out for one year, she agrees. The only problem is they have to pretend in public they are together and those lines get crossed. Can they find a happily ever after or is their an expiration date on their pretend marriage.

I am not sure why I waited on this one but should have picked it up sooner. I loved this one, each book in this series has been amazing and you only want more. Poppy is such a wonderful character and you are rooting for her and Jase to get together. You also begin to see a side of Jase that was not introduced in the first book. Amazing characters and story.
