locke lamora could rob me for all im worth and i would thank him for it. I knew it would be 5 stars from the first chapter. Dragged a little in the middle but once you push past that you’re golden and it picks up again. Story was almost entirely dominated by male characters tho, so I wish there were more female ones but maybe in future books (sabetha?).

Frustrating to read with the author overexplaining and too much not-so-subtle foreshadowing.

It’s been a few years since I read this one, must have been back in 2017 or 2018.

Lovely to reread. The world building is wonderful, and I love how the author doesn’t shy away from loss and serious setbacks. Stands on its own perfectly well (despite being the first book of an unfinished series)

Such a good and funny book! Highly recommend!
Though I'm hesitant to continue reading... at least until the 4th book has a release date..

Currently kicking myself for putting off this series for so long. Masterful story-telling, intense and fast paced plotting, and maybe the greatest platonic relationship ever written.
