Wow this was such an amazing read! So glad I picked up this series. It was such a joy to read. I hope there are more books about Han and Raisa.
Update: Learned there is a sequel. Also learned about events that occur at the beginning of that book. Will not be reading the sequel series and wish to delete the knowledge of its existence from my mind.

Cinda Williams Chima proves yet again that she can master the long game throughout the entire course of the Seven Realms series. In her capstone The Crimson Crown Chima proves that even the smallest seed can become the biggest weapon in changing the way people think and proving that people do change.
Throughout the entire series Chima strives to prove that people can change, thought multiple times, even her main characters, prove otherwise. But what shines through more than change, is the perspective that each character believes and how it grows and changes with the character. In the beginning one character may be against the main force for the realm, where in the end they may align themselves closer to the main force. She shows that everyone person in society does provide a unique view on the issues at hand, though some of them may be less moral than others, and its in morality that she draws the line.
Chima’s characters strive to infuse this morality in the peers and parents, even though old grudges die hard. Raisa and Hans, throughout their entire entanglement throughout the saga, prove over and over again that morality exceeds on person desires and proves to drive the realm in the right direction, whereas their parents chose personally and cause utter turmoil. In the end their desire for the safety and wellbeing of the one they love that stokes the fire that pushes them forward. All the while showing that even the biggest changes really are small in comparison to those of the ever-changing tide of their world.
Above all, Chima implants seeds throughout the entire saga, whether big or small that causes waves of change by the end. Her ability to plant ideas and objects in seemingly unimportant that grow to change the course of the novel is outstanding. With every page turn another surprise comes out of something you overlooked early on in the series and creates a whole new surprise and series of obstacles. She changes also go to help support her idea of morality and the differences between opinions, because to someone these things carry great weight whether they see it or not.
In all the Seven Realms saga and The Crimson Crown offer a outstanding experience in the realms of magic, politics, and the entanglement of love, that prove to teach even the most weary heart that something good awaits out there for every. If you are in need of an adventure, an escape from the daily trenches of work, or even the pure excitement pick up The Demon King, the first book in the Seven Realms Saga, or even listen to in on audio book, you will not be disappointment in anyway.

Wow! I loved this series so much. I can see it making a place high in my favourite series' of all time. I'll let this sink in before I jump on to Flamecaster though. Super excited!
