PREDICTABLE AND ANGSTYYYY
I just wrote a full review and then accidentally deleted it… I don’t know if can be asked to rewrite it but the gist of it is that I did enjoy the book even tho I feel some mixed opinions on it in terms of all the angst. It’s not a book I could reread but I liked it for what it was… a light smutty angsty childhood friends to lovers.

Umm...I knew it. Anyways very hot as usual with QB. Not as forbidden or taboo as the other books of hers I've read but her spice always hits.
I was so frustrated reading this book because I freaking knew something was up and they were apart for no reason. I love childhood friends to lovers but this had a little twist with their friends with benefits situation.

Leighton and Everett - best friends to lovers, college setting

Leighton and Everett have been best friends since they were in 4th/5th grade. Leighton wants to go to DC for college (home state is Arizona) but her parents say the only way that will happen is if Everett goes with her.

Messy, but ok. An a-okay read. That’s all.

Everett and Leighton

If Leighton and Everett are one thing, it’s passionate. These two feel everything so immensely, and that’s in part because of how long they’ve know each other. They’ve had eleven years of knowing each other and loving each other in secret. Their path was definitely rocky, and messy, but these two loved each other enough to make it through together. I loved Everett, and he definitely didn’t deserve what he went through in this story. I need more of seeing this man happy.

Spring Semester was definitely a STEAMY and entertaining read. I thought there was too much back and forth between the two main characters and some unnecessary drama. I also didn't think I got enough of them as an actual couple. Since this was a friends to lovers (one of my favorites) I was hoping to get more scenes of their relationship blossoming or I could've loved some more forbiddenness included.
