This was an excellent read, though it was heartbreaking. So many intense moments!

A quick, interesting read. Good take on "zombies" and very well written. Sad but good! I would love to read a longer version to feel a bit more connected to the characters for the end to have that big emotional impact. But still a good read.
Graphic: Blood, Gore, Injury/Injury detail, Body horror, Death, Gun violence, Infidelity, Vomit, and Violence
Moderate: Sexual content, Grief, Medical content, and Suicide
Minor: Child death and Homophobia

The novella deals with terminal illness in a very honest way, without making it into a festival of suffering. I don't know why this is labeled as horror- it's a love story, and a story about death, but it is not scary, just profoundly sad. But sad in a way that makes the reader better in the end.
Graphic: Terminal illness
Moderate: Gore and Infidelity
