I was pleasantly surprised by this, as honestly, I didn't know what to expect or if I would find it terribly interesting. However, it is an entertaining story of the life of a clearly incredibly intelligent, talented, force of a human. My favorite parts were about her childhood, growing up, and the surrounding cast of characters, as well as the ways the world has changed since not so very long ago - and the ways it had not (in terms of things like racism, policing and lower income communities, schooling and education, diabetes management, etc.).
Moderate: Alcoholism, Racism, Medical content, and Medical trauma
