Lots of bad luck on the first few dates and they are better than me for sticking to it. The cuteness of this couple was great because they were enjoying themselves with no pressure of course they fall in love! All around good story.

A refreshing take on a trope that's been done and done again. Overall, the story is pretty lighthearted with terrific wit, and the author's use of sarcasm is right up my alley. We also get some great chemistry between Cam and Olivia, including plenty of steamy goodness. In the beginning, I wasn't sure I was going to like Cam, He's that guy, the one who always gets his way, is good at everything, and has no concept of failure. However, as the story progresses, it's impossible not to fall for that charm and cocky attitude, especially with the amount of personal growth for our sexy playboy. Game On winds up the Aces Hockey series, but does stand on its own. And props to the author for including some exciting and nail-biting game play in this sports romance. Kelly Jamieson has knocked it out of the park with this one, and I'm excited to see what she comes up with next.

This book appears to be the last book in the Aces series. I would suggest reading from the beginning though it is a standalone book there are a lot of other couples that get introduced from previous books that can make it confusing.

That being said I loved the banter between these two characters. Cam is cocky, but very charming. He is known to never back down from a dare and when he bets he can snag a date with the beautiful blonde across the bar, he doesn't back down.

Olivia can't believe this gorgeous guy is hitting on her, and with horrible pickup lines no less. To find out he is a well known hockey player decides for her, he can be a spokesperson for her charity. Little did they know that the chemistry between them would be super hot even with a few blunders. Innuendos to make you blush, heat to make you sizzle and everything in between!

This is the final book in the series, however, it can easily be read as a standalone. I haven’t read any of the others but I didn’t find myself lost with the story at all. Cam places a bet with his friends and teammates that he can’t spend two months with a woman without falling in love. Seems easy to Cam so he jumps on the bet, but sometimes things in life aren’t so easy.

When they first meet they have ulterior motives. Cam wants to win a bet with his team and Olivia wants Cam to be a celebrity spokesperson for her non-profit. Cam and Olivia both agree that they aren’t dating, this is just about hooking up. But the more time they spend together feelings and emotions start to change.

There is no denying the chemistry between Cam and Olivia, it is seriously kindle melting hot! But watching them help each other and watching them struggling with their emotions was really what drew me into the story. Of course, like anything it isn’t always smooth sailing and they do run into some bumps in the road throughout the story.

I did enjoy this story and will definitely be going back to read the other books in the series.

I've received a ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

If you read it once, you read it twice. The overall premise of the series has been something I read.... Numberous times. Group of friends make a bet that one their own: hot, talented and overall ladies man can make the equally insanely hot girl fall in love with him and then a whirlwind romance ensures.

I'm not saying that this overused story premise wasn't a good read, cause it was and I've very much enjoyed it, but it's not original. Despite that, if you're looking to read a sports romance filled with funny moments and great characters, definitely give this a try. It stood out a little more thentthe similar series I have read in the past and would definitely recommend to fellow readers for a quick read.

Hockey player is resistant to love. Heiress has been burned before. His teammates bet him that he can't spend time with her and NOT fall in love (it's the end of the series so "everyone else" is coupled up.) Refreshingly, Cam tells Olivia about the bet. And she's willing to go along because she needs a boyfriend to bring home to what appears to be a somewhat dysfunctional family (that is sort of fixed at the end but it's glossed over and I love a good family figuring it out story.)
A nice, easy read, not particularly deep but I was able to dive in without having read any other book of the series.

Cam and Olivia, what a pair! Steamy scenes, laughter and a bit of drama always makes for a good story.

This is my first book in the hockey series and first read by this author.

Such a good book.. and they finally won!! I really love the Hockey romance novels from Kelly Jamieson. They are so well written and I love the appearances from the couples in the older novels so we can continue to follow their lives. It was such an amazing ending to this series being able to see how happy all the couples turned out after all these years. I will def keep an eye out for the next one!! Wynn Hockey!
