That last 15 mins had me screaming in the car.
While there were parts that got a little annoying or boring. Overall the book had me interested and dying to know what happened next. I finished it in 2 days. It was brutal and I'm surprised it's so uncensored for being a teen book. I mean there was decapitation, death by lightening, psychological torture, and graphic violence. I mean they def don't give YA vibes but it's crazy dif from the movies.
The romance feels really forced and kinda get in the way of the plot, but I guess there was a point to it all. *
I feel like everyone's reactions to the traumatic events were pretty realistic. Like Tom is really affected by every death and event and you can tell all these kids are super traumatized

BRENDAAAAA WHHHAAATTTT???
* FUCK Theresa, that bitch should burn. The whole betrayal not betrayal bit had me so confused. I was crying for my poor Thomas.
Jorge is really uninvolved in this story compared to what the movie showed.
Deaths in this one: decapitation, death by lightening, burned to death, stabbed, torn apart by weird monster things,

Also the whole telepathy thing was so bad and lazy, and the way it just jumped from person to person was just not my cup of tea. There were a bunch of plot holes, too.I really wanted to like it as a huge fan of the films, but it was okay at the very most.
