I'll just say this: I'm not proud. But Ashley Judd tricked me, because I'll watch the movie version of this on TV any day of the week.

I read this because I was planning to see the movie based on it. I never did see the movie. I like some of her other books a bit better.

This has a more realistic and completely different HEA ending than the movie. If it weren't for Hugh Jackman, I would've been mad that the heroine fell in love with the commitment phobic guy (who probably has STD). The book made the guy out to be twice worse than Barney Stentson from How I Met Your Mother.

Animal Husbandry is the anatomy of a relationship seen through the eyes of a zoologist. Zigman's protagonist examines her life through the eyes of a scientist, creating what she refers to as the Old Cow - New Cow theory. Thoroughly entertaining.

Fun and throw away but v of its time. If Bridget Jones's diary makes your skin crawl, don't bother.

This book would probably be better enjoyed if you haven't already seen the movie. The book was OK, but having seen the movie I figured the end would make it all worth it. It did not end the same and I am very disappointed. Not what I expected.

Okay this is really between 2 and 3 starts. I didn't hate it but I didn't really like it either. More, "eh."
