Very dark. Not my type of spice and it's just the first story told from another point of view.
Which makes sense as it's book two, but I found i did not care about the characters as much as I enjoyed book one. 
It also was less story line and more repetition. 
Overall, meh. I'll probably read book three and then go back to my usual space thrillers.

They’ve done it again! Another great book from Harley Laroux. Filled in gaps of the original story without getting repetitive and boring.  Very respectful view of PTSD without being whiny. Juniper used it as a source of strength while also acknowledging it could be her downfall. I don’t know how book 3 will go but I’m ready to devour it same as the first 2.

I really liked it somethings I already knew would happen because of the first book but I still loved how Strong Juniper was she is such a power woman! I love her and Zane together they are the perfect broken revenge team I feel like. I just really loved the revenge part in this one and that party were she got her piercing if you know you know it was sooo good omg!!!
