I checked this book out onto my kindle at the end of December, didn’t get to it, and then had emergency brain surgery in January. I didn’t read it, and after the surgery I couldn’t read. Apparently while still in the hospital I downloaded Audible, bought this book, and listened to it. I do not remember this…at all.
So I listened to it a second time. I remembered nothing, the narrator’s voice was brand new to me, that first listen is truly not anywhere inside of me.
This is my second book by this author, enjoyed, wish I had read it during the winter holidays as planned.
Feel emotionally attached to it as my first book post double craniotomy and gamma knife.

I loved the book, and now I want to read all of Keegan's backlist too. The story is cozy yet dark, and it's easy to read in one sitting. Perfect for dark fall and winter nights inside.
