A very interesting premise and creepy setting. It does make you want to know whats going on with the train? Where is it going? And how did the characters get here? Unfortunately that can't carry the story, as the dialog is atrocious.
Characters will get in a near death situation, and be making jokes. Theres a running joke where they make jokes at one character for collecting food.. but why!? They're in a situation where collecting food to make sure you dont die should be expected!
There are numerous plot holes that don't make sense because of things that JUST happened in previous scenes.
The book is clearly padded out to make it longer and it gets worse and worse as you get further in. It will constantly break things up using

3.7 - great start to the book. Had me hooked and I was engaged throughout. The mystery of the train and it’s contents kept me reading, however I am not sure if I had some type of expectation of what the ending would be and therefore caused me to not like the real ending as much. Still great and would recommend!

The underlying message is clear; the analogy is understood, but this was a terrible story. This is what you get in fiction when you write with a message yet forget to entertain. Just awful.
