It's a fun ride with wild leaps of imagination and unsupported conclusions, but the ending is so much fun that it makes me grin thinking about it. I have a hard time understanding anyone who would get bent out of shape over the religious context of this novel. It's a novel. NOVEL.

Also das Unterhaltungslevel war sehr hoch. Über Dan Browns Schreibstil möchte ich nur sagen, dass 600 Seiten noch nie so schnell um waren. Illuminati mochte ich noch einen Ticken lieber aber Sakrileg hat mir auch schon echt gut gefallen. Auch wenn ich sagen muss: Das unrealistischste an dem Buch ist mMn, dass Sophie den Kontakt zu ihrem letzten lebenden und geliebten Verwandten abbricht,
Spoiler nur weil sie ihn bei einer rituellen Orgie erwischt hat
. Klar, ist fragwürdig aber so schlimm nun auch wieder nicht.
