I'm a sucker for clean Regency romances but this didn't quite satisfy. I've never heard of this author. I think it was a bit of a stretch for Leah's problem, to never say something to someone considering how close she was to everyone. The book left a lot of unresolved questions at the end. I wanted more about the other characters. And I'm no editor but there was a misspelled word and not every new chapter had a flowery page before it so the inconsistency of the format was quite noticeable and I wonder how quickly this was printed.

A sweet, clean romance.

A typical, traditional regency romance. The main characters are lovely and the secondary characters are fun. The misunderstandings arise because of lack of clear communication, but it's not as unbearably annoying as some books I've read. It's a fine amount of drama and misunderstanding. If they just talked to each other and said what they were thinking the book would be too short!

3.5 stars! I rounded up my stars because it’s a fast read and I was entertained! Sweet story of love and a whole bunch of miscommunication and misconceptions. I always enjoy a quick regency romance story.

Sweet Regency story - lots of misunderstandings and hurt feelings which got a little frustrating a times, but I always love a happy ending. I'm looking forward to reading more about some of the secondary characters in future books.

A charming story! Childhood friends who drift apart and are brought back together to discover more. Lovely.
