Каквото и да е мнението за днешния Франк Милър и някои от историите му. То е безспорно, че по-старите му комикси са едни от най-добрите.

Perfect story, naturally given it involves Frank Miller & Chris Claremont. This is the quartet that made Wolvie into the seminal hero he continues to be, again and again. Swirled on top of that is the delicious dose of nostalgia for hand drawn, hand lettered, minimally colored comics...plus the 80's style for all things Japanese. Most surprising is the rediscovery of clothed, busty-but-not-surreal, and Ab Fab Kick Ass females. May have to purchase a copy as my 'reading' copy in my collection.

This is the classic Wolverine: a killer fighting his urges as a beast, yet a cold and calculating assasing, with a heart of gold. It's nice to compare this image of Wolverine with what Hugh Jackman has portrayed: the difference is subtle but important: although there is a lot of grief in Wolverine's life, he is a relentless killing machine with a great penchance for the cynical. Nice read.
