This was the wake up call I needed. The only reason is isn’t rated higher is because it took a lot out of me to read it, obviously not the book’s fault. Overall really well written and I’m thankful I had the opportunity to read this.

Talaga really dives deep into the stories in a way that is informative yet personal and respectful. Her writing is so easy to fall into and the narrator of the audiobook is excellent. Prepare to be moved, sad, angry, and heartbroken. You must read this book. I’ll definitely reread it.
