He might be a Darcy, but she is no Elizabeth Bennet.
A very disappointing retelling of Austen's novel that misses all of the humor and social commentary.

What if P&P took place in the modern era and the Bennetts were all horrible people? (Except dear Jane of course.) To be honest I enjoyed the hell out of reading this book despite hating most of the characters. Liz got better as it went on at least. Not a great read but a good enough one. The original kicks its butt in every way, however.
