A real page turner

I'm always a fan of crime thrillers and this definitely did not disappoint. I slowly worked out some of the twists, but not until the author was ready for me to. An excellent book and I will definitely be carrying on with the series!

This was a cracking read. Great plot, the idea of an anti - bible was very original . Found it difficult to put this book down and really hope there's a sequel

Such a good British police procedural. The ending wrapped up too quickly with loose explanations. Overall - excellent exposition, nice characters, and an interesting story.

This was my first experience of a Mark Roberts book but not the last. I loved the story from page one and would have read none stop I had been able to do so. The story is amazing and I could not wait to know what would come next; it' sa good thing that I had the eboo kin this instance.

This is the worst book I've read all year.

It was horribly written, predictable, clichéd, uninteresting, poorly set up and the ending was a crock of shit. There are also a ton of plot holes, the characters were incredibly boring and I couldn't have cared less about them.

I finished it out of pure stubbornness. This, along with 'Her' and 'Daughter', definitely makes the shortlist for some of the worst books I can remember reading.

Do not bother.
