Fantastisk univers, fabelaktiv skrevet. Får meg til å føle all the feelings. Hopper rett på neste bok!

Wow, I haven't read a book I would be so dissapointed in that it would completely thrown me away in a long time.
The first book was one of the best pieces I ever read. I loved the politics, system of magic and mainly Hirka and Rime whom I would literally die for. And in this book everything just disappeared as if I was reading completely another serie. By that I definitely don't mean the fact that main part of this story was placed in our world but the way the narrative changed from beautiful romantic language and downright lengthy description to a shallow story in the style of every other fantasy I can find.
The romantic line completely ruined me (even when I typically don't really like romantic lines!!!!) and now I have a feeling that everything was completely senseless.
If it wasn't for the first book I would really enjoy this one but I had so much expectation that I can almost say I am angry for the way this turned out.
Rime my beloved :( <3

En sterk firer til denne boka. Spennende fra start til slutt og overraskende nyskapende historie.

Obsessed doesn't even cover it! These books are dark and gritty and beautiful and I'm in love. I really connect with everything in here. The characters are well developed and I feel attached to them and their stories. I love the themes talked about in the book and love the way it makes me feel, almost, uncomfortable when certain topics come up. Siri has a way of being so honest about things that it makes you think about everything with an open mind and eyes even when what we see might not always be pretty. I hope this made sense, sometimes it's hard for me to explain my thoughts and feelings so that others understand. Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for providing me with an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.
