Tell me you visited Nantucket without telling me you visited Nantucket.

You keep reading books that take place on Nantucket.

And the setting was the best part of this book. I enjoyed the sisters and the business they put together, but this one didn't hold my interest as much as other Nantucket books.

A feel good summer read that will appeal to the sappy romantic in all of us. This books follows four women as they deal with their messed up, not-where-they-expected-to-be lives all crashing together in Nantucket. I appreciated the humor only someone with sisters could understand. Overall, I would rate this one three stars. If you really like sappy romance though...it's probably four for you!

This was a nice summer read. There are a few romantic scenes that go into more detail then I would care to read, not graphic, but more detail then necessary. The book takes place in Nantucket and It totally makes me want to go to Nantucket even more after reading this book! There are several things that are not believable in the relationships to me, but it's a nice little story if you need something light - which I did after reading two books about war and gore... lol

I thought this book was amusing at times, however it did drag on and on. I didn't really feel a plot, there was no climax, there was only a little bit of character development. I guess because there were so many narrators, it just dragged on. Of course I was happy with the ending as they all did live happily ever after, but I couldn't happen to be relieved when it was over.

Once again I find myself wishing for 1/2 stars. I would give it 2 1/2. I picked up the audio version of this book at the library knowing nothing about it. It was OK. The characters were somewhat superficial and self-centered. The story was satisfying, but not very complex or interesting. I actually rolled my eyes several times at their actions and dialogue.

It was ok. This hit me as a slow starter, but held my interest once it picked up the pace. It's a happy ending story with little to no loose ends for the mind to wonder about or the imagination to ponder & build on.

A quick and charming summer read. Perfect for outdoor reading with a cup of coffee or iced tea.
