I just finished this book. My first thoughts are that the story was inventive. It was a very fast read too. It’s funny but probably not all that memorable. Great book to help boost your count.

Gerald works in a PR firm and has accidentally uploaded himself to the company slack program. There’s some great banter but when
slack’s help bot takes over Gerald’s body
the story takes a weird turn. There are some sort of rape light themes that only a man would think is ok to write about.

I absolutely adored the way the author chose to tell this story! Its up there for my best reads this year! Its a good quick read that paces itself very well and manages to keep the reader interested and invested with every page. It manages to portray idea of self that can be hard to understand im a very easily understandable and engaging way. I loved every part of this book from beginning to end!

This was delightfully odd. The format is intriguing and the story's weirdness-as-normal(?) feel reminded me a lot of Welcome to Night Vale. The story itself was such a fun ride. The ending felt a little sudden on the solution, but getting there was still a ton of fun.

For fans of the Magnus Archives episode "Binary". Well-paced and written entirely through Slack messages made this a really quick read. It somehow manages to be both lighthearted and horrifying all at once. I do wish there had been a real wrap-up to the Lydia plotline, though. Funny enough to be able to read and scary enough to make sure you don't spend too much time in your work messages.
