I really liked this. It had some stuff that I wasn't expecting. The character development was really good.
Seeing War go against his nature to prove to Miriam she was what he wanted was really nice. It did get a bit repetitive though but with that it felt the relationship was a bit more natural so there was a pro and a con.
Miriam was really fantastic. The ferocity in which she protects others really aids in the tension in her relationship. How can she love War when he destroys?
I definitely wasn't expecting the ending but in a really great way. The biggest issue I have with the book is its length and the tendency to be repetitive. The rest was fantastic.
✨️ forced proximity
✨️ touch her and pass
✨️ fated lovers

Just finished the second book to “The Four Horseman” series by Laura Thalassa called “War.” Where do I start? I liked it. I enjoyed it. But I will say that it had similarities to the first one. The plot was different but the FMC was just the same FMC in the first book. Now in this book the FMC was a true pain in the ass. I know, I know! I’m real picky with these FMC in books. It’s an ICK of mines. But seriously when you read it then you’ll see what I’m talking about. It was nonstop annoyance with her. And it started happening like 80% in. But I finished it and it was ok. Enjoyable. I will say that War is definitely more filthy than Pestilence was. Like he knows his shit. Pestilence was a virgin in his book while War dabbled a bit. So his mouth was filthy. Loved it. I’ll say it worth a read.
