I loved (most of) this book. I couldn’t put it down!! It had really interesting world building which I loved. The characters weren’t special, but I didn’t have a problem with that because the other aspects of the book made up for them. It was definitely diverse, but more so a Europe  kind of diverse, if that makes sense. 
My only problem was
the romance. It was just. No. This might be a personal thing but I hated how the plot in the last ~third of the book revolved around it, and it was also very rushed imo. If Morgan didn’t exist the book would be 10x better. I was ready to throw a brick(s) at her omg.
 
I’m normally not a fan of romance in any book so take this with a grain of salt, but if you ask me, just stop reading when
they get on the Archivist’s train,
  bc it’s actually very good before that! *inhales a jar of Nutella then commits arson*
