Picks up from where Chase: and the girl who came back finished off.  However, you can still read this book without needing to read the first one.
Focuses on the affects on Arden because of the incidents.
Spicier than the last book but pace is slower.

Don’t read

It’s poorly written, very hard to follow when scenes change, and the pov keeps changing without warning. I can’t believe I read the whole thing….

As much as I loved Yasmin & Chase, I loved Ella & Arden even more. The beginning of the book frustrated me, but I did appreciate the author putting us out of our misery quickly after the cliffhanger ending in book 1. This book took some unexpected twists and I loved every minute of it. I love how close all of them, Ella included became and how his chosen family keeps on growing to include the perfect people for their group. I can’t wait until Rhys's book is released and we figure out how all that can work out.

I had high expectations for this book, the first is one of my favorites and Arden was one of my favorite characters but here I missed almost everything. I didn't see the romance, everything happens in a way that I missed in several chapters and I had to go back to understand, the main characters have no chemistry, I didn't see any growth in them, the only good thing? that the author knew how to deal with issues of FMC disease but otherwise, I didn't find any sense in this book.
