A really beautiful and emotional story. Fast paced, easy read, thoughtful, reflective, lots of quotes to hold on to, and full of heart. I enjoyed this one thoroughly even though it was more emotional than I was expecting- not as funny/optimistic as the blurbs on the book make it seem. I think fans of The Reading List or No Two Persons would enjoy this one.

A cozy, warm blanket of a book. I absolutely loved all the different perspectives and getting to know everyone in the tiny town of Alice.

The Storied Life of AJ Fickery is a beautiful book about a quirky 39 year old man and the characters that cross his path throughout his life.  Initially, AJ reads much older than 39, and I had to stop myself from picturing a 75 year old in his place.  Full of laughter and tears, I think most people would enjoy this book and be inspired to read more.
