Honestly, this is giving me Ice Planet Barberian + politics vibes - the isolation. Lots of tropes, some followed and some taken to different places.
This is definitely an "I'm here for the romance" type of book. Some points in the book had me thinking "this is awfully convenient" then remembered that I was having fun. The romance was great so it didn't really matter. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the nice language used in the smut scenes.
Defiantly a book for an evening to just chill.
