I was going to give this book 2 stars but the ending and the note from the author made me bump it to 3. It is nowhere near as good as Best laid plans. My biggest issue is it read like pretty woman if Vivian was a rich girl gone bad instead of a prostitute. Some of the scenes I could picture from the movie. Jameson feels like he is pretending to be bad. I didn't quite believe it.
It was too long and I could have quit part way. Now I am at least going to have to read the beginning of the next book to see what happens. I really hate cliffhangers.

what I liked most in this book is the bickering and banter between Jameson and Tate. their chemistry was sizzling hot and they totally are male and female versions of eachother. the plot was okay and the side characters like Ang, Rus, Ellie, Sanders were also okay. but i just wanted both Tate and Jameson to be a little less stubborn and to just realize their deep feelings for eachother. although I hated Jameson for what he did at the end, I'm sure he had his own reasons which maybe I'll get to know in the next book.
