Amazing how I've gotten to 25 and never read this classic story, or perhaps I did and just forgot. Anywho, I grew up with the animated film. It was nice to read this and refresh my memory of the story.

I have a vague recollection of picking this book up off a friend's bookshelf sometime around the age of five, and my friend's mom found me when I was about a quarter way through and she was so excited that I'd never seen the movie that she had me sit down and watch it right then and there.

Her dad came home while we were watching it and threw in his thoughts on Lewis Carroll. ("Wasn't that guy on drugs?")

And that was my introduction to Alice in Wonderland.

It's a strange read, but I definitely enjoyed it the second time around, maybe in part because I remember how confused I was by it the first time around.

Incomprensibile in alcuni punti, prolisso per il gusto di esserlo in altri. Ho l’impressione che tutti i miei ricordi positivi di questa storia siano relativi al cartone che guardavo da piccolo.
