The romance was a bit insta-love and boring, but there was plenty of plot going on around them to keep things interesting. I'm in love with Willow Lake and can't wait to get to know the rest of the town.

Fun, light MM romance. It PNR with insta-attraction between MCs that is normal for books with fated mates.

This was a fun and light MM, PNR, fated mates romance between a witch and a hellhound. There is outside confict in the area but the relationship between the couple has the fast, insta-attraction of a fated mated book. There were some unique and interesting takes on paranormal beings and what a fated mate is as well as the elemental magic system.

I really enjoyed reading this and hope for more books set in the town since it seems there might be other couples with attractions evolving. I have to admit that I am slightly annoyed with myself because the next book isn't out yet and I have to wait to read about the next couple and their relationship.
