I always feel like the Amelia Fang books never disappoint! They are even more special when listened to on audiobook, so much fun and love the puns!

Definitely my favourite out of the series so far!

I really enjoyed this! Despite not being in the age bracket for this it really hits my funny bone in ways other books miss. It's a fun and enjoyable read :)

This book was how we entered Amelia's series.

Amelia and Squashy are holed up happily in her bedroom with a copy of Positively Pumpkin and coming up with costumes, when her mother interrupts and disapproves highly of the mess and Amelia's desire to become a pumpkinologist. She's afraid her mother will just never understand her, and it's downright depressing.

Meanwhile, she and her friends are now attending Catacomb Academy during the day, with other children from the kingdom of the light, and they have a new fairy teacher from Glitteropolis, Mr. Sublime. He's a baker, and he gives his students a new cookie recipe to try out with ingredients Amelia's never worked with before.

Amelia can't taste her own baked-goods because of a sore fang, and Tangine gets a sore tummy from eating too many Scream Cheese Boogers and doesn't eat any, but she happily supplies the cookies to Florence and Grimaldi.

Who promptly lose their memories.

And at the same time, blue forget-me-not flower petals stream over Nocturnia, filling the air with their scent.

Unrelated events? Heck no! Amelia Fang solves the mystery and... I won't spoil it! Read for yourself how she saves the day, Nocturnia and everyone's memories, once again.

There are other books in this series, we just haven't gotten to them quite yet. Enjoy!

Review:

Not as good as the first two books, but still a fun read and I just love this world

Review previously placed on my blog:

I'm currently reading Amelia Fang and the memory thief. This is the third book in the Amelia Fang series. Decided to read a Dutch copy from the library. Reading this for my Series TBR.

Actually not really enjoying this. The story is just random and not really enjoyable. Hope it will pick up in the second half, but we shall see.

It did pick up in the second half and it was way better. I really enjoy that we had a mystery solved that was in the last book. But the build up to that was just too long for me, it could have been a bit quicker or with more hints to the mystery. Still enjoyed it and will pick up the next book soon.
