This was a really interesting twist on the concept of through the looking glass!!! I enjoyed the problem solving!

I'm sad to have finished the last Jewel Kingdom book. I read a few as a young child and now I've read them all (except the special [b:The Jewel Princesses and the Missing Crown|137959|The Jewel Princesses and the Missing Crown (The Jewel Kingdom Super Special, #1)|Jahnna N. This was another good addition to the series but it didn't feel like anything final, which I guess is okay because they don't have to be read in any order. It was pretty obvious that

Lisel wouldn't want to switch back right away. I was expecting her to put up more of a fight, honestly

, but it was still an exciting read and I was interested to see how Demetra would figure out a solution. I do wish we could have seen how the mirror world fared after Demetra left, but that has to be left to the imagination. That would have made for an interesting spin-off series, though.

I'd like to own these books to read to my future kids one day. There are nice short fantasy stories.

I’m so fortunate to have found a copy of this book from a thrift store recently. This series was such a favorite of mine as a child and I LOVED getting to revisit the Diamond Princess in this book! Hoping to find more copies of this series soon and revisit the entire series.
