I loved returning to this world. The storyline was good and I enjoyed the characters. However, I was felt like the ending was unfinished, rushed. Even a brief epilogue would have helped!

3.5 stars. Well-written book with entertaining premise and plotline. Didn’t engage with it as much as Alpha’s Blood. Still a good story.

After Crimson Debt being a good read that was completely let down (read: destroyed) by one character I wanted to try some other vampire steamy romances because realistically it is a genre that appeals to me - and like I am loving shifter steamy romances so why not vampires.

So I thought I would try Her Vampire Master because when it comes to steamy reads I do have to admit to a preference for spanking /BDSM/DD-LG formats so I thought this might hit the right notes for me.

But alas it wasn't to be. It was an ok read but not one that made me want to read more in this genre and not a story that I would go back to again or continue with this series.

3 stars and a mildly disappointed Lo. Third times the charm right!

Very sexy, very suspenseful paranormal romance. The characters are complex and have great backgrounds. The story is well written and often will have you captivated. I really enjoyed this book along with the darkness that is involved.

I am voluntarily leaving a honest, unbiased review.

I believed this book had so much potential, it was a unique story idea, it has vampires and sex scenes, and it does not stray overly into the fantasy genre. My problem is that there was a good part of the story that felt like wasn't finished. A character's storyline is created, yet never really achieved fully. A conflict is created for the protagonists to solve, but is done in a half-ass way. The relationship that is blooming the whole story is wrapped up quickly. This book really frustrated me because I know it could be better. The ending makes it a big mess to me,
Spoilerbuilding up a conflict that is solved in the last 10% of the book by not the main characters, but a third party that wasn't introduced until that last 10%.
It is something I really cannot get over.
