The fact that Juliet, a literal 13 years old, is more mature than all of the characters together (apart from Friar Laurence) is hilarious.
The story would probably have been better if Juliet had been older and if Romeo wasn't a cunt who fell in love with someone else every two seconds.
That being said, Romeo + Juliet and West Side Story wouldn't exist without it so thank you Shakespeare

it was poetic but then it got repetitive. the story is quite nonsensical too. so far, it is the easiest Shakespeare text I have read.
