Hard Limits is the first book in the Queen of Hearts series. There is a trigger warning at the beginning which I like for those who need it. I however like books dark, and this one did not disappoint :). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This book is told mainly from Nicolette's point of view, however we get some chapters from Sacha, Vas, Oliver and Bodhi. Nicolette is a call girl and is Oliver's roommate. They don't know what each other's job entails. Nicolette has been seeing Vas as one of her customers. So when she is called to meet some people to lure someone in that they want intel on she shows up and Sacha, Vas, Bodhi and Oliver are there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They plan their meeting with the person they are trying to get intel on and it doesn't go as planned. As she is working with the guys someone breaks into her apartment and destroys all of her stuff. She has to tell the guys she has a stalker. So she ends up staying with them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When something happens to Nicolette will the guys be there for her? Or will they continue to do what they originally started out as? Will their feelings continue to develop? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This book left off in a good spot, but I'm glad to know we will get more of these characters in another series.

This book is just amazing!
The way nicollette owns her sexuality and her past and trauma! She is the ideal woman in her situation owning her life. I love how the book begins and how we meet the men before we realized we meet the men. I enjoy that nic wont give up her job and that we still get those details as well. I love bodhi and oliver and their relationship as well i want to see what happens with sasha and bodhi!! Vas is one of my favorites.. i also wish em and blake were part of her group!

A fast paced reverse harem BDSM mafia story with a non annoying kick ass heroine and decent writing? A rare gem, I loved it.

The premise of this book was great and the chemistry between the characters was good. It had so much repetition within the same chapters that I had to keep re-reading parts because I didn’t understand.

I didn’t get to read Violent Tendencies Anthology, but I’m sooooo glad Suki expanded Nic and her men’s story! I thank you for it!
