This book on quarantine is particularly fascinating because it was started before COVID-19 hit, and finished in 2021. I read it specifically for its insights into COVID, but I ended up being most interested by the section on space travel.

Super informative. This book gives a really nuanced perspective on how quarantine can be both helpful and/or harmful considering the context. I think there’s a lot to learn here on how to effectively prioritize public health and keep each other safe while ensuring marginalized folks aren’t being harmed.
