Great book, especially for those who are struggling

This book was a quick, but effective read. The author shares several relatable stories throughout the book. The best part for me was the end of the book, which had a question and answer section for reflection. There are scriptures throughout the book for encouragement and to support certain points. Overall, I’m glad I read this book and I would recommend it.

This is a book for everyone who is hurting.
Even if this is not a book you need today, it likely will be a book that you need at some point in your life. It is also a wonderful gift for any friend who is hurting. It is a nice balance of the things we all know and those nuggets of revelation that only seem to come into light when somebody else brings them into focus.

A wonderful, deeply sensitive, never simplistic, yet filled with faith book that deals with suffering. Suffering which is personal, painful, confusing, heartbreaking and unexpected. Wonderful and deserves to be read alongside Philip Yancey and C.S. Lewis when thinking about suffering.
