Review:
This was my first time reading a Romance by Sophie so I wasnt sure what to expect but I have to say this was a fun and cute Romance set during New Year's Eve.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about.  It was hard to pick just one as my favorite since I seemed to like all the characters.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Good Romance Novel. Can't wait to read more by Sophie in the future!!

This book was simply perfect. Often I wouldn't say I like romcoms, but this one not only had a tremendous serendipitous concept, but the story was funny and charming. The real winner is the witty dialogue. Each character, even the side ones, were three dimensional. This was so heartwarming. I felt the "owls fluttering" around in my belly.

If I had to live in an alternative reality 2020, where there are no covid or lockdowns, it would be in this book!

This book was good but not blow your socks off. It was a nice light read for the end of the year. It had one of those slow romances that seems so much more plausible to real life which I liked, but sometimes it felt like nothing was happening in the plot. 3.5/5

This was an ‘uplifting and heartwarming’ romcom as described, I was invested and I enjoyed it but probably would have given more a 3.5 if I could. Minnie’s mindset and outlook evolved and grew through the book but there were times where it was a little cheesy…. A suppose that makes it the classic romcom though!

i didn’t really like this book. i thought some parts were funny but overall just eh.

i felt like this could’ve been about 100 pages shorter, there were plot holes (he called his mom from his friends phone to get minnie’s number but he never called minnie back? huh?)

lots of the characters felt like caricatures and just unrealistic.

i liked the invisible string vibe of the book but i wish it focused more on that instead of a pie company being saved. i just thought this would be something different.

also who names their main character minnie cooper?!
