I love this series. It's gripping, adventurous fantasy at its finest.

Into Battle: Or, To Be Continued...

The 5th book is the The Seventh Tower series is just a set-up novel that furthers the plot. Nothing more, nothing less.

Tal continues his journey in the Aenir with Adras while Milla continues her journey in the Castle with Odris. They are both gearing up for the big battle and continuing on the story. Just lots of plot, plot, plot, not a lot of thought, thought, thought. Everything moves too fast to stop in think what is actually going on.

The world is so confusing and convoluted. I have no idea how anything works, what anything looks like, or what the rules of this world are and I think that is why I am having trouble investing in this story and this journey. Maybe the final book will explain it all (doubt it!).

P.S. Sushin giving me Sushi feels.

P.S.S. Adras and Odris, best characters hands-down.

Wow. Another GREAT addition to this series! I love it! There were so many new twists that I NEVER ever saw coming! I can't wait until I get a chance to read the last one!

I'm 15, and I recommend this series.

Milla leads the Icecarls as the enter the castle trying to take it over. She is accompanied by Crone Malen, the youngest of the Crones, Odris, the former Storm Shepherd, who is her Spirit Shadow, and wears the Talon of Danir on one hand. Tal, and Adras, the other former Storm Shepherd go to Aenir the land of spirit and magic to tell the Empress what is going on and get her help. They battle fierce beasts and find that the Empress is not what he thought she would be. He learns that his Sunstone is half of the Violet Keystone and finds his mother in yet another cliffhanger ending.

This was excellent! All the build up to battle and then the final start of the battle! And so many loose ends have already started playing out and being tied off/dealt with - I appreciate that there won't be a big rush at the end of the next book that finishes everything off. And the twist that I was expecting ended up totally different! That was an unexpected surprise! Can't wait to start the next one.
