Taboo at its best

omg!!! Dominic & Stassia were indescribable. while at first, the dynamics are tricky in so many ways, I still enjoyed it & loved the taboo side of it. Dominic sounds super hot & totallly “daddy” material. I loved that while yes this is highly taboo, you see the general roles change & flawlessly. it didn’t seem weird at the fact, it just happened & they found each other when they needed each other the most, when things were hard. I generally loved their story & how they fell in love. it never once seemed weird to me or sick. they generally just couldn’t stop themselves from falling in love. QB Tyler is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine! I can’t wait to binge the rest of her books!!

Stassi (18) and Dominic (41)
Stepfather/daughter, age gap, virgin FMC, interracial relationship, daddy issues.
Ooof this goes along with “Unconditional” (also by QB Tyler) in the way that IF you can get past the fact that Dominic is Sassia’s actual stepfather, you could enjoy the story. I don’t know, I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it either. QB really knows how to write sexy taboo books, that’s for sure. 4.5🔥

This was one of the first books where I really had to just let my mind be open and not let the stepdad/step daughter factor bother me. However, it still was a rollercoaster for me, but I did enjoy it! I loved the plot and how the characters grew by themselves and together. I listened to this book and I think I enjoyed it more listening to it. I think taboo might not be for me. I still enjoyed getting a feel for it and what I may want to read in the future.

no cause what the hell was this and why did i trust a tiktok to try it ???

i’m all for age gap but wow i was just not a fan of this. i wish i could blame it on the whole step daddy thing but no, it was 100% their relationship and stassia’s character. it’s been a hot minute since i’m actively writing this review in june but i remember vividly not being able to stand her character or how awkward their relationship was ?? it was either that or oh let’s jump each others bones now !!!

i feel very awkward writing this review myself since a lot of my mutuals enjoyed this book

What was the point of having the biological dad story line? I kept thinking something crazy was going to happen that character, but nothing ever really materialized.
