This book is a work of non-fiction that glosses over a calamity that had occurred in one of the poorly maintained arteries controlled by Israeli police forces for Palestinians in the greater Jerusalem–Ramallah area and the checkpoints that are used to impede Palestinian movement, all while easing settler traffic.
It provides ample historical context of how the design of the Wall of Jerusalem started as a project by Dany Tirza after the Oslo Accords in 1993. I highly recommend it for whoever wants to have a grasp of the segregation in the West Bank and the politics around it.

Very relevant today. I felt as though it introduced the wide array of conflict that had plagued both Palestinians and Israelis. Rich with history and nods to traditions within both cultures. Great read for someone who would like to learn more about the lead up to Oct 7 and the history of the conflict.
