A book where everyone is dumb and all the smart people have read about two or three books. (im a genius).

I hope, at any rate, that the seashells in my ears are fashionable enough to not receive condemnation from an increasingly socially aware Guy Montag.

The overall concept of the book was very interesting, particularly as we experience our own similar type of banned books (although we are not burning them). Overall, the story itself was not super captivating – and perhaps that may be due to me listening to it as a audiobook (as I have found it rather difficult to concentrate on)

May be a different story if I had tried the physical book…

Amazing how nearly 60 years ago, Ray Bradbury was eerily prescient in his description of our fascination with violence and technology and our loss of connection to one another and ultimately ourselves.

Muistelin, että tämä olisi ollut parempi. Olen tainnut lukea tämän joskus nuorena englanniksi…

Kenties uusi suomennos olisi paikallaan? En tiedä.
