When I started this book, I thought things were happening rather abruptly, I usually like getting to know the characters a bit before major stuff happens. When continuing to read however, it became clear that there were in-story explanations for the abruptness, which made me happy ^^
I love that this book has both ace and aro rep, and not both in de same character, that is quite rare!
At first I was a bit confused when the ace character spoke of lack of sexual desire, which is a word that for me pointed more to libido, but I soon realised was meant in the meaning of attraction, which makes more sense for an ace character!

Overall the story kept me interested, wondering how things were going to evolve. The side plot with the father was interesting and really added an extra layer to the book.
Spoiler On the main storyline I did feel in the end Monica was a bit too pushy about wanting a romantic relationship despite Lisa being aro and clearly not feeling right with such nomers for it. I feel like she could have been better at asking what and how Lisa wanted things, without saying 'I want and need this, and unless you Really REALLY don't want it that's what we'll do'. In the end they did talk about wants and no's and everything, but that bit icked me out. Then again, people aren't perfect :P
