Darling Beast immediately captured my attention and kept it until the end. I loved how each character had depth and they worked with each other to help each other. The romance is class difference, secret identity and very beautiful. There was a slice of humor that elevated the narrative. Elizabeth Hoyt can write!

What a book. The best one of the series so far. Finally a 5 stars book in the Maiden Lane series.
Can't say a lot without giving out spoilers, but I will say what an emotional ride. Apollo is such a great tortured hero. What he went through...God can't even imagine.
The plot of the killer was kind of obvious but it was very well written and for that I'm okay with it.
And their romance, so adorable. I love when children play a important part in getting the main couple together. Besides Indio is so CUTE gotta love him.
I felt that their connection was pretty fast paced, but Elizabeht Hoyt can make me love a really fast pace.
I also LOVE when the hero or heroine always trust each other, even if in real life I would think that the other person is crazy in this blind fate, but I love this in my books.
Overall this was an amazing book. And it had my favorite epilogue of the series.
Can't wait now for book 8

Not a bad book, but it was kind of a let down after the high of Duke of Midnight. Lucy was a good heroine, and I liked that she was an out of wedlock mother, but Apollo was a mediocre hero. For his Count of Monte Cristo like origins the action was a little flat. I still love Elizabeth Hoyt though, and I am in for the long haul.

I liked how Caliban evolved as he and the heroine fell in love. I did not like the Duke of Montgomery at all.

OKAY SO THIS GETS AN EXTRA 0.5⭐️ CAUSE APOLLO IS SO FINNEEEEEEEEEEE I wanna be Lily so bad ugh he so perfect bro cmon he cries? perfect mwah, he pretends to be stupid in front of his future wife? hilarious, I love him for that, he already acts like a father to his future son? devoured that and he proposed to Lily NAKED? I ran screaming around my room hollering ‘I want him’ (no I didn’t but theoretically I did). This is perfect, ngl the ending was kind of rushed, but it was good and very very sweet hehe

i also kind of like 10% speedran this book cause i wanted to read Phoebe’s very badly lmfao
