I really loved this book until the very end where I could tell how the story was gonna end but up until that point I really couldn’t predict what the end would be like which I enjoyed!! Overall cute and entertaining. We love a good slow burn!!!

I’ve started this book a couple different times, not going to lie.. But I picked it back up yesterday and it quickly became unputdownable. The character development was *chefs kiss.* I found myself not being about to predict what was going to happen, which is a common ‘flaw’ of romance. I adore this book.. so many good quotes about life, love, family, tragedy, and personal happiness.

I listened to the audiobook, and I know I couldn't read this book physically. The writing style was not for me and the narration of the audiobook saved me from not finishing it. For some reason, I couldn't relate to the female main character until the very end. It's like the female main character and male main character are both grumpy and the sister is the sunshine. Which I think is a good dynamic for a grumpy sunshine trope. I do love the banter between the main characters and the sarcastic comebacks the male main character has. His sarcasm had me laughing out loud. If you can get through this book, the end will have you loving romance again. The happy endings always gets me.
