So I am in the minority for this book. The premise was great and fun and interestingly low angst for a kidnapping trope. Unfortunately for me, Damon and Saint’s relationship fell short for me. Their romance was a bit everywhere and it was hard for me to follow.
I feel like this book is broken up into three sections: kidnapped, transfer/transition, back at home.
Saint was pretty passive but got into hitman mode when necessary during kidnapper section. The sex was also almost sweet. The author juxtaposed this big hitman with tender touches and not being able to come unless he kissed Damon.
During the transfer section, Saint turned into a spanking Daddy, calling Damon brat and boy and spanking the attitude out of him.
During the back to home section they part ways but Damon hires an investigator to find Saint. And then tells him he’s a femme top and gets all bossy too.
I totally understand that people can have varying likes and moods but the way it was written had me confused about their personalities and their compatibility.
After they got back from the botched transfer and Damon found Saint, they kept having sex for a few months but they never talked. It was just sex and Damon leaving. So when feelings emerged I was confused from where. They stalked each other and that’s where the majority of the information they knew about each other came from but when they spoke to each other it was trading insults or annoying retorts. I just didn’t connect with their love/obsession with each other.
Over all, this book wasn’t for me. I skimmed the last half just to know what happened.

I felt like this was so boring. The tension was amazing, and when they finally bone, I was like FINALLY.. but I felt like both characters were so one dimensional overall, I couldn't keep reading it was boring.
